A native of Fort Myers, Mark brings over 35 years of banking and financial experience to the Sands Commercial Group. He began his banking career in Lexington, Kentucky after graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Accounting. He spent almost 15 years in Atlanta, Georgia with a large financial institution and returned home to the Southwest Florida area he was raised in over 16 years ago. He has held leadership positions in 3 local banks and has extensive commercial real estate experience through his management and lending activities. He brings a unique perspective to the commercial real estate arena in Southwest Florida given his contacts in the local banking industry and his knowledge of financing commercial real estate properties.
He has always been a strong contributor to the local community and charitable organizations having served on the boards of the Southwest Florida Historical Museum Foundation, the City of Fort Myers Housing Authority where he was the Chairman and the American Heart Association of Southwest Florida. He currently serves on the boards as the Vice Chair of the United Way of Lee, Hendry and GladesCounties and is a Past President and current board member of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce.
